Nectr introduces Deferit payment option

As of 1 July, Nectr customers can pay their energy bills across 4 instalments via Deferit – an option that we hope assists in family budgeting. This handy bill budgeting platform allows customers to spread the cost of their energy bill over 4 easy instalments. No interest. No late fees.

How does Deferit work?

  1. Head to https://deferit.com/en-au/nectr/ and upload your bill – Snap a photo of your bill, choose how much to pay, and get instant confirmation.
  2. Deferit pays your Nectr bill and you then pay in 4 instalments.
  3. Instalments are scheduled every two weeks. Always interest-free. No late fees.

How can Nectr customers choose the Deferit option?

Nectr customers can access the Deferit instalment option by signing into their Nectr My Account via our website, or via our mobile app.

Via our website:

  1. Head to the Nectr home page.
  2. In the top right corner, click “My Account” button.
  3. Use your app login details or if you haven’t yet used our App you can log in with your email address and create a password.
  4. Once you’ve successfully signed in, you will see if there is an amount owing. If so, click on the Deferit option under your balance.
  5. This will lead you to a new page where you can view further information about Deferit and create an account.
  6. Once you’ve followed the prompts from Deferit, you’ll be able to upload your latest Nectr Bill and begin your payment plan. Also provide your Nectr BPay reference. Unsure of your Nectr BPay reference?  Email  and we will send it right over. 

Via our app:

  1. Open up your Nectr mobile app. If you don’t have it installed, head to the Apple or Google Play store and search for “Nectr.”
  2. Select the Billing tab and tap to see your latest bill.
  3. If you have an amount owing, click on the Deferit option under your balance.
  4. This will lead you to a new page where you can view further information about Deferit and create an account.
  5. Once you’ve followed the prompts from Deferit, you’ll be able to upload your latest Nectr Bill and begin your payment plan.  Also provide your Nectr BPay reference.  Unsure of your Nectr BPay reference?  Email  and we will send it right over.
