Federal Battery Rebate Terms and Conditions
Overview
Nectr is offering 100% of the proposed Federal Battery Rebate as an upfront discount off the cost of your solar battery system.
To be eligible, the battery system must be installed prior to 1 July 2025, but commissioned after 1 July 2025. Full payment is required on completion of installation, even though commissioning will occur later.
This offer is conditional on the Federal Battery Rebate being introduced. Customers must already have a functioning solar system (new or existing) to qualify.
Stock availability and pricing are subject to change. Early installation is recommended to secure the offer.
Eligibility
Offer valid for new quotes only and cannot be combined with any previous promotions.
Available for eligible battery systems between 5kWh and 50kWh capacity.
Customers must have a compatible solar system and a smart electricity meter installed on site.
Offer subject to confirmation and implementation of the Federal Government Battery Rebate policy.
Nectr reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer based on government decisions or program changes.
Terms and Conditions
A 10% deposit is payable on acceptance of the quote. The balance is due on installation of the battery system.
Installation must occur prior to 1 July 2025; commissioning will take place after 1 July 2025.
If the Federal Battery Rebate is not implemented, customers will retain the discounted price offered under this promotion.
If the system is commissioned prior to 1 July 2025, eligibility for the rebate will be forfeited, and Nectr reserves the right to recover the initial rebate discount.
This offer cannot be used for batteries larger than 50kWh or smaller than 5kWh.
Only approved battery products (e.g., Sungrow, SAJ, SolarEdge) are eligible under this offer.
Customers in NSW may be eligible for additional rebates depending on local government schemes, subject to availability.
Payment Terms
Full payment (less deposit) is required upon completion of installation, even if the battery is not yet operational.
A small commissioning fee may apply when Nectr returns to site to activate the battery after 1 July 2025.
If additional items such as bollards or blackout protection are required, they will be quoted and charged separately.
