Nectr takes out multiple awards for our 100% carbon neutral plans
Experts Choice Awards from financial comparison site Mozo this year, recognising our offerings in the residential electricity market and our focus on environmentally-friendly plans.
Our winning products and categories include our 100% carbon neutral plan (Nectr Clean) in the Electricity, Green Electricity and Solar-friendly Electricity categories for Queensland residents and for the Green Electricity category in New South Wales.
The Mozo Experts Choice Awards for Energy recognise providers offering the best and most affordable energy options across a range of categories, with 842 products from 47 retailers analysed as part of the selection process.
“To conduct our awards calculations, we take a set of customer scenarios that consider the different distributor areas in each state and several different levels of energy usage. This helps us assess price variables and find the cheapest options for different kinds of residential energy customers,” Mozo Expert Judge Peter Marshall said.
This process is based on industry benchmarks currently published by the Australian Energy Regulator, and takes into account a number of factors like tariffs, guaranteed discounts, fees and credits.

While our plans won awards in the Green and Solar-friendly categories, we’re more than pleased that our Nectr Clean plan took home an award in the general Electricity category as well. This goes further in proving that being environmentally conscious doesn’t mean extra stress on your wallet.
