Privacy & Credit Reporting Statement

Hanwha Energy Retail Australia Pty Ltd trading as Nectr collects your personal and credit information (including credit eligibility information) for the purpose of (amongst other things) assessing whether or not to give you consumer credit, and to manage a failure to meet payment obligations or a serious credit infringement. If you do not allow us access to your credit-related information we may not be able to provide you with our services or assess your credit application. We may share your personal and credit information with our service providers, credit reporting bodies, regulators, related companies or others in accordance with our Privacy & Credit Reporting Policy. We may disclose your information to entities that do not have an Australian link for example in the UK, the USA, Canada, South Korea and the Philippines.

Nectr’s Privacy & Credit Reporting contains information about how you may:

  • access any credit-related personal information about you held by Nectr;
  • request Nectr to correct the credit-related personal information and to make a complaint to Nectr, and how Nectr will deal with such a complaint;
  • request a credit reporting body not to use credit reporting information for the purposes of pre- screening of direct marketing by a credit provider; and
  • request a credit reporting body not to use or disclose credit reporting information about you, if you believe on reasonable grounds that you have been, or are likely to be, a victim of fraud.

A credit reporting body may include information provided by Nectr in reports provided to other credit providers to assist them to assess your creditworthiness. If you fail to meet your payment obligations in relation to consumer credit or commit a serious credit infringement, we may be entitled to disclose this to a credit reporting body.
