Nectr $250 Signup Credit
Terms and Conditions
Nectr’s energy customers will get “$250 Sign-up Credit” promotion (the Promotion). The Promotion is only available for new customers who are joining our acquisition products.
Information on how to participate in this Promotion, form part of these terms and conditions. By entering this Promotion, you represent that you are eligible to enter and you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
To be an Eligible Participant for this promotion:
- You must be a “new residential customer”,
- You must acquire any of our following products,
- Nectr Buzz In Bonus Plan (new customers that resides in NSW and South East QLD)
- You must sign up during the Promotion Period, and
- You must remain a Nectr customer up until the 1st August 2027
The $250 sign up credit is subject to the below terms and conditions:
- The Promotion is available to new Nectr’s residential customers who sign up for the Product during the Promotion Period. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “new residential customers” includes customers that have switched from their existing retailer to Nectr or choose Nectr as their retailer for their new residential premises (move in). Any existing customer reallocating premises, or returning customers, will not be eligible for the Promotion.
- The promotion commences at 8:00am (AEST) on 27th August 2026 and signs up end and must be received by 12:00am (AEST) on 30th October 2026(Promotion Period).
- If you are eligible for the Promotion, it will be in the form of a credit note. The payment will be credited on your next electricity bill on or after the 1st August 2027, for all eligible participants.
- Any payment made in accordance with this Promotion will not be refundable or redeemable for cash (i.e., notes and/or coins) or by cheque.
- If you cancel or terminate your plan with Nectr, before the 1st August 2027, you will not be eligible for the promotion.
This Promotion is made by Hanwha Energy Retail Australia Pty Ltd trading as “Nectr” (ABN 84 141 108 590) and Nectr Distributed Energy Pty Ltd (ABN 48 638 767 272).
Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, Nectr: (a) may: (i) suspend or withdraw all or any part of this Promotion for any reason and at any time; and/or (ii) vary the terms or content of all or any part of this Promotion including (without limitation) any time or date in this Promotion and these Terms and Conditions; (b) may not provide a Sign Up Credit to an Eligible participant who has not fully complied with these Terms and Conditions; and (c) to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable to any person for any cost, loss, damage, liability, personal injury or expense or claim arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the Promotion, including use of the Sign Up Credit.
By taking up the Promotion, an Eligible Participant understands and agrees that Nectr may use and disclose the information provided by the Eligible Participant on the terms set out in its Privacy and credit reporting policy located at https://www.nectr.com.au/privacy-and-credit-reporting-policy/.
