Nectr Solar & Battery Incentive & Prize Draw Promotion

Customers who purchase an eligible system directly with Nectr Solar & Battery, during the promotion period (15 May 2025 – 1 July 2025), will receive a unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher to share with friends and family. Sharing the voucher with eligible new customers, who contact Nectr Solar & Battery within the promotion period, will earn you an entry into the Prize Draw. The $500 Solar Discount Voucher is eligible to be used by a new customer on any Nectr Solar & Battery system purchase. Subject to credit and eligibility criteria, Terms and Conditions apply.  

Eligibility 

• The promotion is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older whose premises are located within one of the following energy distribution networks: 

• the Ausgrid network area; 

• the Endeavour Energy network area; 

• the Energex network area; 

• the Evo Energy network; 

• the SAPN network; 

• the Citipower network area; 

• the Jemena network area; or 

• the United Energy network 

• the Powercor network 

• the Ausnet network 

• If at any time a customer participating in the promotion ceases to meet any of the eligibility criteria in these terms and conditions, that customer’s right to the benefits of the promotion will cease.
 

How to enter the prize draw   

• Entry to the Prize Draw is eligible to customers who purchase a Nectr Solar & Battery system within the promotion period (referrers) and receive a unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher.   

• The unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher can be shared with friends & family as a referral to Nectr Solar & Battery.   

• The referred customer must contact Nectr Solar & Battery and provide the unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher within the promotion period.  

• The referred customer must be a new customer.  

• The referrer will receive confirmation that they have been entered into the prize draw.  

• Referrers will receive one (1) automatic entry into the draw for every instance of a new customer who has contacted Nectr Solar & Battery and referenced the unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher, regardless of whether the referral results in a sale. 

• Multiple entries are permitted per person, provided each referral is to a unique individual, and each unique individual is a new customer eligible under these terms and conditions.  

How to use the unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher 

• The $500 Solar Discount Voucher is applicable to new quotations created within the promotion period.  

• The $500 Solar Discount Voucher will be applied to the referred customer’s eligible Nectr Solar & Battery installation at the time of purchase.  

• The $500 Solar Discount Voucher is subject to the validity period of the quote. This means if the quote has expired, the unique $500 Solar Discount Voucher has expired.  

• The validity period of the Nectr Solar & Battery quote is stated clearly on the provided quotation.  

Holiday Voucher Prize details  

• The prize is one (1) Holiday Voucher valued at $2,000.  

• The Holiday Voucher is valid for travel bookings through a nominated travel agency or voucher provider.  

• The winner will be selected via random draw and notified within 7 business days after the promotion end date. 

• Reasonable contact efforts will be made to the winner. If the prize is not claimed within 3 weeks, a redraw must occur. 

• This is a random prize draw, and no alternative prizes will be offered.   

• The holiday voucher is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.  

• The holiday voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the nominated travel agency or voucher provider.  

• Images/descriptions of the prize in associated posts may not be accurate or reflect the actual prize.  

• There is one (1) prize which will be awarded to one (1) customer.  

Promotion Period 

• The promotion starts on 15 May 2025 and ends on 1 July 2025. 

• All referrals and entries must be submitted within this timeframe.  

Privacy 

• Personal information provided will be handled in accordance with Nectr’s Privacy Policy and used solely for the purposes of administering this promotion. 

Liability 

• Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes, or modifies any consumer rights that consumers may have under any statute, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). 

• Except for any conditions, warranties, and representations expressly stated in these terms and conditions, to the extent permitted by law, Nectr Solar and Battery excludes all conditions, warranties, and representations under or in connection with this promotion and these terms and conditions. 

• To the extent permitted by law, Nectr Solar and Battery’s liability for breach of any condition, warranty, or guarantee imposed by statute that cannot be excluded, and your sole and exclusive remedy in relation to such breach, will be limited to (at Nectr Solar and Battery’s election): 

• Supplying the relevant services again; or 

• Paying the cost of having the services supplied again. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery’s total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim, loss, damage, expense, or liability arising under or in connection with this promotion or these terms and conditions (including in negligence) will not exceed $1,000. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery’s liability under or in connection with this promotion or these terms and conditions (including in negligence) will be reduced by the extent, if any, to which you contributed to that liability. 

General 

• This offer is made by Instyle Solar Pty Ltd, ABN 99 159 287 153 trading as Nectr Solar & Battery of Waterloo Junction, 12 Commercial Road, Newstead, QLD 4006. 

• Nectr Solar & Battery reserves the right to verify all claims and refuse any entry or reward if fraudulent activity is suspected. 

• The promotion is subject to availability and may be amended or withdrawn at any time at Nectr Solar & Battery’s discretion. 

• By participating, referrers and referred customers agree to these Terms and Conditions. 

• You are responsible for your own costs associated with participating in this promotion. If you participate using multiple email addresses, phone numbers, or names, you may be disqualified from further participation. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to Nectr Solar and Battery’s satisfaction your eligibility to participate in the promotion (for example, documentation establishing your identity, age, and place of residence). Failure by Nectr Solar and Battery to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery may exclude or suspend you from participation in the promotion or from receiving benefits under these terms and conditions if you: 

• Breach these terms and conditions; 

• Engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion; 

• Act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive, or harassing manner; 

• Do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of Nectr Solar and Battery or any of its related entities or contractors; 

• Breach any law in connection with the promotion; or 

• Behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery is not liable for referrals or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible, or incorrectly submitted (other than due to Nectr Solar and Battery’s negligence), nor if the promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond Nectr Solar and Battery’s control, for example, due to software, hardware, or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud, or technical failure. 

• The value of the $2000 Holiday Voucher Prize is in Australian dollars and is inclusive of GST.  

• The value of the $500 Solar Discount Voucher is in Australian dollars and is inclusive of GST.  

• Nectr Solar and Battery is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you receiving a financial incentive in connection with this promotion. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this promotion results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, provided that the amendments do not cause unreasonable financial or other detriment to customers. The amended terms and conditions will apply from the time they are posted on the Nectr Solar and Battery website or otherwise notified to customers. 

• Nectr Solar and Battery may terminate the promotion by notifying customers on the Nectr Solar and Battery website or otherwise, provided that Nectr Solar and Battery provides sufficient notice so that the termination does not cause unreasonable financial or other detriment to customers. 

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State or Territory in which the entrant resides within Australia.
