Sydney Home Show $50 Electricity Bill Credit
New customers who complete a ‘Request a call back’ form at the Nectr Stand during the Sydney Home Show (19-21 May 2023) for our Nectr Bee Solar Bundle or Nectr Bee System Bundle or Nectr Battery AddOn Bundle and then sign up to this plan within 30 days will receive a $50 electricity bill credit. Subject to credit and eligibility criteria, T&C’s apply.
- This offer is made by Nectr Distributed Energy Pty Ltd ABN 48 638 767 272 (Nectr DE). References below to Nectr are references to Nectr DE and/or (as applicable) Hanwha Energy Retail Australia Pty Ltd ABN 82 630 397 214 trading as Nectr, both of Level 25, Northpoint Tower, 100 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.
- This offer (the Offer) is available from 9.01am (AEST) on 21 April 2023 to 6.00pm (AEST) on 23 April 2023 (the Offer Period).
- Eligible product bundles (the Products) include Nectr Bee Solar Bundle, Nectr Bee System Bundle or Nectr Battery AddOn
- This offer is available to new customers who complete a ‘Request a call back’ form for our Products at the Nectr Stand (site G30) at the Sydney Home Show, at the Sydney International Convention Centre Sydney, Darling Harbour (the Offer location).
- Eligible customers who complete a ‘Request a call back’ form during the Offer period at the Offer location, meet product conditions, enter into a “New Energy Finance” agreement with Nectr and then sign up within 30 days of the submitting a lead will be eligible to receive the $50 electricity bill credit.
- The Offer is open to customers who:
- have never before held an energy account with Nectr;
- are an Australian resident aged 18 years or over;
- own the premise where the system will be installed and located within one of the following energy distribution networks:
- the Ausgrid network area;
- the Endeavour Energy network area;
- the Essential Energy network area;
- the Energex network area;
- the SA Power Networks;
- the Evoenergy network area;
- the Jemena Power network area;
- the CitiPower network area;
- the United Energy network area;
- the AustNet network area; and
- the PowerCor network area,
(together, the Territory Network Area)
- If at any time a customer participating in the Offer ceases to meet any of the eligibility criteria in these terms and conditions, that customer’s right to the benefits of the Offer will cease.
- Each customer may receive the Offer for a maximum of five (5) eligible premises.
- The electricity bill credit is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- The bill credit will be applied to the electricity component of the Product on the 2nd invoice
- The Offer will apply in addition to any other bill credits offered by Nectr for these Products including:
- a $10 monthly credit towards electricity charges that may be available to customers participating in Nectr’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP) program associated with the Nectr Battery AddOn and Nectr Bee System Bundle and
- Except for any conditions, warranties and representations expressly stated in these terms and conditions, to the extent permitted by law Nectr excludes all conditions, warranties and representations under or in connection with the Offer and these terms and conditions.
- To the extent permitted by law, Nectr’s liability for breach of any condition, warranty or guarantee imposed by statute that cannot be excluded and a customer’s sole and exclusive remedy in relation to such breach will be limited to (at Nectr’s election):
- supplying the relevant services again; or
- paying the cost of having the services supplied again.
- Nectr’s total aggregate liability to a person in respect of any claim, loss, damage, expense or liability arising under or in connection with the Offer or these terms and conditions (including in negligence) will not exceed the relevant discount.
- Nectr’s liability to a person under or in connection with the Offer or these terms and conditions (including in negligence), except for any liability Nectr has to that person in relation to any discount properly earned by them under these terms and conditions, will be reduced by the extent, if any, to which that person contributed to that liability.
- Nectr will use your personal information to conduct and manage the Offer, to provide energy to you and manage its relationship with you and as otherwise permitted by law. Nectr may disclose your personal information to its related companies, agents and contractors to assist in these purposes. This may include disclosures of your personal information to organisations outside Australia including in places such as the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, South Korea, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
- By participating, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from Nectr in relation to the Offer without any functional unsubscribe facility.
- Nectr may use your personal information to tell you about products or services that Nectr thinks you might be interested in where you have consented to Nectr doing so, or it is otherwise permitted by law. Nectr will seek to comply with all relevant privacy legislation in relation to your personal information. You can find Nectr’s Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy on Nectr’s website. If you have any questions, you can contact Nectr’s privacy officer. Nectr’s Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy contains information about:
- how to seek access to the personal information Nectr holds about you and seek correction of the information; and

- This offer is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Customers and prospective customers provide their information to Nectr and not to any social media platform. Customers and prospective customers completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
- Customers may be required to execute documentation with Nectr to confirm and formalise their participation in the Offer.
- Nectr may, at any time, require a person to produce documentation to establish to Nectr’s satisfaction their eligibility to participate in the Offer (for example, documentation establishing their identity, age, place of residence and ownership of residence). Failure by Nectr to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
- Nectr may exclude or suspend a person from the Offer or from receiving benefits under the Offer if the person
- breaches these terms and conditions
- engages in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Offer;
- acts in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
- does anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of Nectr or any of its related entities or contractors;
- breaches any law in connection with the Offer or their participation in the Offer; or
- behaves in a way that is otherwise inappropriate
- Nectr is not liable if the Offer cannot run as planned for any reason beyond Nectr’s control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure.
- Nectr may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, provided that the amendments do not cause unreasonable financial or other detriment to customers or prospective customers. The amended terms and conditions will apply from the time they are posted on the Nectr website or otherwise notified to the relevant persons.
- Nectr may terminate the Offer by notifying customers and other persons on the Nectr website or otherwise, provided that Nectr provides sufficient notice so that the termination does not cause unreasonable financial or other detriment to customers or prospective customers.
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
